A cosy spot for dining!

St. Munditia, a bejeweled skeleton. Munich has more relics than anywhere outside the Vat.

When around the corner, I thought this looked like the Loge in Firenze. Indeed! I discovered King Ludwig I (not the mad one who was II) was inspired by it.

Great service at the Charles… And a pretty nice tree.

Multi course dinners are served in these little huts outside the hotel.

A lot of this is fake. The dome is not a dome, just a painted illusion. Marble is painted wood. Things like that helped sell the Asam brothers wares.

More of a showroom for the Asam brothers work than a church. Here death cuts the thread of life. Poor guy.
